We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve signed major deals with both Hudson Australia and PageUp. This is an important milestone for PredictiveHire and AI in recruitment.
Our deal with Hudson will see us work together to develop new tools for companies that leverage predictive analytics in HR.
Meanwhile, we will be offering PageUp’s clients around the globe the ability to use of our platform to hire better and remove unintentional bias from their recruitment process.
Both of these deals point to a fact we’ve known for a while: AI and analytics will shape the future of recruitment.
Many companies recruitment processes are well overdue for a shake up, for a myriad of reasons.
Firstly, use of AI helps remove bias. It doesn’t judge a person based on where they went to school, or who they know. Our tool surfaces the personality traits in high performers within your organisation with 88 per cent accuracy, and uses an analytics driven questionnaire to surface which candidates share the same traits.
So, why should you care about bias? It’s the enemy of hiring diversity.
Diversity is no longer optional, it’s mandatory to succeed in today’s business landscape. According to research by McKinsey & Company, gender diverse company are 21 per cent more likely to experience above-average profitability than those who aren’t. Meanwhile, culturally diverse companies are up to 33% more likely to outperform their less diverse counterparts
Using this method as the first level of screening reduces time to high and yields higher quality information for the recruiter than a resume keyword scrape.
Secondly, we’ve found that candidates actually prefer this method of screening to alternatives. Of the 200,000 candidates we’ve screened, 85 per cent said they enjoyed the process over other methods.
And finally, it’s cost effective. We’ve helped a major global retailer reduce their their $1 million per year hiring cost to just over $100,000 per year.
We’re at a stage now now where if hiring managers and HR professionals aren’t at least investigating this trend, they risk being left behind in the emerging war for the best talent.
